Donation Receipts
Domestic Violence Prevention Centre (DVPC) is registered with the Australian Charities & Not-for-Profit Commission (ACNC).
For Australian citizens all donations to DVPC over $2 are tax-deductible. International donors should seek advice regarding the tax status of any donations made.
PayPal Donations
If you donated via PayPal from our website you will have received a receipt for the donation directly from PayPal to the email address you use for your PayPal account. Please check junk email folders.
The PayPal receipt and your bank statement should be sufficient for most tax purposes.
The Australian Tax Office (ATO) advises that in most circumstances a tax deductible receipt is not required to claim a deduction for a donation to a charity with DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient) status. You are able to claim the deduction using your bank statement or internet banking copy of the transfer details, in most cases this is sufficient evidence of your donation for taxation purposes.
You can see this advice from the ATO here. Please note that DVPC does have DGR status.
Donation via Direct Bank Deposit
