Reporting domestic violence when it is NOT an immediate emergency

You can contact your closest police station to speak to a Police Officer or the station Domestic Violence Liaison Officer (DVLO) to:
  • Ask a question or seek advice
  • Report an incident which has happened in the past
  • Make a complaint.

Always remember to ask for the name of the Police Officer you spoke to and record the QPrime number if you are reporting a breach of a Domestic Violence Protection Order.

If you are not happy with the response you received from the Police:

  • First try to contact the Police Station Domestic Violence Liaison Officer (DVLO).
